S1 of Gundam00 was actually very good, I thought. S2 had too many baggage characters, and they started breaking their own internal world rules/mechanics. The movie .... lets not go there at all =X
Gundam AGE is pretty darn terrible though. Flit and Asem are both terrible people, and Kio is just annoying. Any focus female either ends up dead or is just the baby-maker for the next Generation. Most of the battles were extremely lame in the choreography. But you don't have to believe me -- the ratings for AGE in Japan were extremely low, and the DVD sales are almost non-existent compared to 00 and Seed. (2k per vol I was seeing. 00 was like... 25k? Seed was 70k of course) |
