Given that SNKP's new major holder has stated that they are heavily invested in multimedia marketing with the IPs, this comes as a small surprise. That's not to say it's not good news but likely this is something they would have wanted to occur in the first place (as they've stated, they're looking to turn SNKP IPs into a "Marvel Universe" type of affair).

Anyway, hope Square learned their lesson, GET IT IN WRITING.

If they did this with Disney, knowing the copyright zealots they are, I wouldn't be surprised if Disney pulled the infringement card.

The jab at Disney is that I feel that Mickey Mouse should've hit public domain by now from being a trademark and as a copyright.

I am pretty sure something will get worked out... Or hope so.

Anyways, I'll be waiting for it.

I would hope so, but then have to wonder about how long of a wait there'd be now. I've no idea how far ahead studios books things in, but I'd be surprised if the anime (assuming that it gets made) surfaces within the next 2 years.
