Zootopia is one of only 2 films to reach $1 Billion gross this year (the other is Captain America: Civil War) and the #1 film in Japan 2016, but a lot of people here probably didn't see because it's about animals. Finding Dory is likely on its way there too. |
Where is "Here", if not the US? (Is it Europe, since you're the one sending us all those cheap CGI animal comedies!--How many times have I had to sit through that Robinson Crusoe trailer?)
Fox stopped making Ice Age movies with American audiences in mind about three or four sequels ago.
Although, yes, half of Zootopia's business is the surprise "Drag a friend to convince them, because they don't believe it either" word-of-mouth that it's intelligent and sympathetic, unlike those...OTHER animal comedies we keep being plagued with.

This sounds promising. I liked "Wreck-It Ralph." I hope the sequel will be as good as the first one was.
