Just recently binged this series before the new season and really enjoyed it. It's all pretty ridiculous, but in a good way
Hopefully the earlier seasons get licensed and we get some BD releases =)
Wouldn't this series qualify? |

Discotek recently announced they're releasing Season 1 on BD! I imagine if that release sells well they'll try to get later entries. |

^^ The Official twitter page for the anime confirmed that its the final tv series.
I could always see a movie happen, given how popular the series is, and maybe even a Nanoha StrikerS esque sequel focusing on a new cast Symphogear Live 2020 is confirmed to be happening too. |

I'm talking more traditional armor like in Ronin Warriors. |

The only girls in armor show I can think of is Bubblegum Crisis, and that's sci-fi. |

Looks interesting. I'll have to check it out. The armor looks cool, though it would be even cooler if they donned more bulkier armor and then they'd look like the female version of Ronin Warriors. |

Symphogear is the ultimate anime guilty pleasure for me. Kinda like: there is a new season? I am certainly going to watch it. Do I rate it highly? Not really but I cannot stop watching it. I don't know but all the silliness of it gives it a certain charm, it is kinda like a Nanoha/idol parody that actually works. Its completely uncompromising approach also makes it so much more entertaining instead of taking itself seriously and failing to engage the audience.

Ah, that's right, I forgot! Thanks for the reminder Discotek does it again
Oh, that's too bad. Hopefully the franchise will continue in some way |

If you haven't seen it, head over to the Nana Mizuki official YouTube channel and watch/listen to the 2012 Live Union tour's final concert performance of Synchrogazer:

I finished ep.13 of the final season (after binging the other 4 seasons) and this show is so dumb and idiotic that it's compelling to watch. I mean you just want to see if the next episode can possibly top the previous one in ridiculousness. I love Nanoha which I consider to be superior in almost every way to this travesty of a series. But having said all of that I still enjoyed Symphogear and all of it's total dumbassness.
