I just want Konosuba on bluray already.

You and me both! Here's hoping Konosuba can finally get a Blu-ray release in the West. Maybe even seasons 1, 2, the OVAs, and the movie? Is that too much to ask for ask for? I'd buy it all.

Really hoping we'll soon be seeing news of physical releases for numerous show from 2018. Right now I'm really hoping for: Planet With, A Place Further Than The Universe, Laid Back Camp, and Rokuhoudou Yotsuiro Biyori.

Don't forget Place Further Than The Universe, too!

A Place Further Than The Universe is an important title, but it is not a high priority for me.

What we really need a BD and dub for is Showa Rakugo.

You may also want to remind us in the article of the July news too.

Crunchyroll, Viz Media Partner for Home Video, Digital Distribution in N. America

Even though we haven't seen anything come from it yet.
Maybe they HAVE to release the shows they had during the Funimation partnership through Funimation?
Don't they have any post November 18 shows to publish through Viz?

In any case, definitely getting cozy. I wouldn't be surprised to see AT&T/Warner/Otter Media/Crunchyroll try a complete buy-out of Viz.

I hope AT&T/Warner/Otter Media/Crunchyroll doesn't buy Viz out. The more competition for anime and manga licensor companies here, the better (ideally).

Warner Bros is already home video distributor for Viz which probably lead to this new streaming deal. animenewsnetwork.com/press-release/2008-12-17/viz-media-and-warner-home-video-forge-distribution-alliance Warner Bros is also likely trying to compete with Disney by putting more of the titles they help distribute on their own services now that Disney has a majority share in Hulu though they'll likely continue streaming on both. But I very much doubt Viz is going anywhere.
