I've noticed that a couple of titles are listed a unlicensed but are licensed. Do we e-mail you or subit such information in Other Information?
Here are some I noticed. Viz: Adolf (manga) Bakune Young (manga) Banana Fish (manga) Black and White (manga) Black Jack (manga) Cinderalla (manga) Dance Till Tomorrow (manga) Even a Monkey can Draw Manga (manga) Maison Ikkoku manga Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind Manga No. 5 (manga) Uzumaki (manga) Dark Horse: Club 9 (manga) Lone Wolf and Cub (manga) Shadow Star(manga) What's Micheal (manga) |

Thanks a lot for your help. I've added the licensing information for all those manga (you like manga quite a bit, don't you? ) Submitting this kind of information in the forums seem to work pretty well. Unfortunately, you can't enter them yourself in the encyclopedia because entering a "licensed by" company has deeper repercussions on the database than just regular data. For that reason, I'm sure you'll understand that we'd rather err on the safe side, so we only let staff add that type of information.

For staff reference, the above manga still need licenses verified before being added to the encyclopedia... Some, like Priest, might be manwa instead... someone with more free time than me should take a closer look. Anywho, I'm going to see Signs, and then see about doing some other ANN-related stuff. |

oops, I forgot all about this. Sorry Joshua. Good thing Tempest came and confirmed all this. Well, almost all these licenses have now been entered in the encyclopedia. I also entered the licenses for Korean manga. I'm now making an addendum to the "no Korean anime" rule: if it happens to be licensed by a North American company, then we'll add it anyway.
The only manga licenses left to confirm: Tokyopop: - Gundam Wing manga [specify which] - Gundam: Blue Destiny (manga) Viz: - Fist of the North Star manga |

Mobile Suit Gundam: Blue Destiny - Tokyopop (although all versions I have seen have the old Mixx label) http://www.animenation.com/1892213109.html As for Gundam Wing: Tokyopop did the main story arc (vols 1-3?), Battlefield of the Pacifists, Endless Waltz, and they are going to start releasing G-Unit at the end of the year. Viz is responsible for the Ground Zero, Blind Target, and Episode Zero side-stories. Isn't Fist of the North Star supposed to be one of Raijin Comics's properties, along with Fist of the Blue Sky? Here are a couple of links to back up the Gundam-related information: http://www.amazon.com/exec/... http://www.animenation.com/books-... |
