Netflix announced on Wednesday that it will stream Kuroko's Basketball: Last Game (Gekijōban Kuroko no Basuke Last Game), the anime film adaptation of Tadatoshi Fujimaki's Kuroko no Basuke Extra Game sequel manga, in the United States on November 15. The company also announced on Wednesday that it will stream the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind anime in the United States on November 1.

As previously announced, Netflix will also stream the live-action adaptation of Sunrise's Cowboy Bebop anime on November 19, the Super Crooks anime based on the comic by Mark Millar and Leinil Francis Yu on November 25, and the France-Luxembourg animated film of Jiro Taniguchi's The Summit of the Gods (Kamigami no Itadaki) manga on November 30.

Gekijōban Kuroko no Basuke Last Game opened in Japan in March 2017.

Fuijimaki was credited as chief supervisor on the film, and he wrote an "original episode" for the film. Shunsuke Tada returned from the three television anime seasons to direct the film at Production I.G. Noboru Takagi also returned to handle the series composition, Yōko Kikuchi returned to design the characters, and Yoshihiro Ike returned from seasons 2 and 3 to compose the music. The cast from the television anime series also returned to reprise their roles in the film.

The film is a sequel to the television anime series, taking place after Kuroko and Kagami become second-year students. An American street basketball team called Jabberwock comes to Japan and plays a friendly match with a Japanese team, but after the Japanese team suffers a crushing defeat, the team members of Jabberwock start mocking Japanese basketball. Their comments enrage Riko's father, and so he gathers a team made up of the five members of the Generation of Miracles plus Kuroko and Kagami, called Vorpal Swords, to have a revenge match against Jabberwock.

Crunchyroll began streaming the film in December 2018.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind premiered in October 2018 and aired for 42 episodes. Crunchyroll streamed the series as it aired in Japan. Viz Media has licensed the anime. Toonami began airing the anime in October 2019.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind is the manga's fifth part that continues the story from the previous entries in Hirohiko Araki's JoJo's Bizarre Adventure manga. The story begins when Jotaro asks Koichi to travel to Naples to investigate a person known as Haruno Shiobana, whose real name is later revealed as Giorno Giovanna. The story then follows Giorno in his goal to rise to the top of the Passione mafia group and turn it into a band of honorable thieves.

Yasuhiro Kimura (Three Leaves, Three Colors) and Hideya Takahashi (Keijo!!!!!!!!, Anonymous Noise) directed the anime at david production, with Naokatsu Tsuda as chief director. Yasuko Kobayashi returned from the previous anime to handle the series composition, and most of the staff also returned from previous JoJo's Bizarre Adventure anime. Takahiro Kishida (Serial Experiments Lain, Baccano!, Haikyu!!) drew the character designs. Shun'ichi Ishimoto was the animation director. Yoshikazu Iwanami was the sound director, and Yūgo Kanno composed the music.
