That's pretty disappointing. I hope this doesn't mean the manga itself will never get an anime sequel because it's one of the few mecha series I've enjoyed in the last five years.

I can't say I'm surprised, Just it's kind of a bummer for the studio to put so much work into something just to have it be canceled. Well, I guess I'll just continue reading the manga, and maybe we'll get a season 2 someday. Someday....

Oh no, I really liked Broken Blade, it was mecha for the sake of mecha, more of it would of been nice. Sentai could at least acquire the TV show, wouldn't they need to just dub a few new scenes?

I watched through Broken Blade a few months ago. I thought it was an altogether forgettable experience. I guess in a small way I'm curious about the continuation, but I personally don't care all that much either way.

While I am not not exactly a mech anime fan myself, you must have some strong standards to enjoy only a few within 5 years.
