The game looks very interesting, I haven't played any prior SMT or Persona games, but the SMT series always intrigued me, it's very different from other RPGs that I'm familiar with, I really like that dark atmosphere of the world and the monsters that appear. For a Switch game it looks pretty impressive as well, I hope Nintendo and Atlus' marketing is working and SMT can become more well known, it seems that many people are comparing it to Persona, which I know is a spin-off of Megami Tensei, but I think SMT V should be judged on its own.
I also wonder if its going to come out for PC like MH: Rise did

Persona 5 is one of my favorite games!

Can you tell?

I highly recommend you try it. The music in the Persona series is AMAZING. Thanks to Shoji Meguro and friends.

I'd like to play Persona 5 but I don't have a PS4 or PS3, there too expensive where I live (video games in general are expensive), some of my friends have PS4s but they don't like RPGs, that's why I hope some day Atlus would port more games to PC, maybe I'll try P4 and SMT III.
I did listen to Persona's soundtrack when Joker got added to Smash Ultimate and I really enjoyed it, of all the 3rd party newcomers he was the only one I wasn't familiar with, I played BK, DQ, KOF, FF, Tekken and KH before but I never played a Persona game. I wonder if the next Smash will keep Joker or if a SMT will take its place.

Persona 4 is still a very good place to start. It's aged very well and the PC version is well optimized and can be run on a potato. I would say I actually prefer it over Persona 5. SMT III is a good port but its way more difficult to get into than Persona 4. Its a very unforgiving game.

I agree with this. Playing Persona 4 at 144 FPS was very very enjoyable!

Hearing the Beneath The Mask theme song spoiler[unlock bit-by-bit (initially just the chord progression & bass, then other melodies, percussion, and vocals were added as I completed more and more of the game] as I played the game was the icing on the cake. Hate to spoil it for anyone else so...here goes

Hope it's more than just a Nocturne clone. I love SMT 3, but the unique strengths of stories and tones are what really stick out in SMT, and having it be more of the same after so long would suck.
If anyone's got a 3ds or can emulate one, Devil Survivor Overclocked is an amazing experience. It's the between point of Persona and SMT, with a traditional alignment and choice system, with fleshed out Persona-esque character development. The gameplay's also very challenging but easy to understand.

Between the infamous difficulty of these games, the somewhat niche elements, and how some audiences may view the deicide aspects.

That’s going to be a tall order.
