I met him once at AX 2010. Really nice and humble individual. Took the time to do sketches of Spike for people who were lined up for his autograph.

He's my favorite character designer. I got his autograph back in 2002 at the Big Apple Anime Fest.

I would love to go to this just to see him, but that just doesn't look like its in the cards.
