^ Makes sense, doesn't it? They're concentrating on areas where there is large population density, especially in areas that have a younger population.

Sorta surprised to see that they're going to hold the concert in LA one week after AX. Maybe all venues in the area were booked, but holding a concert, especially at a venue like Club Nokia which is near to the con, would probably be better. They'd sell out with the attendees there for the con.

I guess, but it seems like we get left out of a lot of anime related things (the only one I know of in recent years to make it out here is Road to Ninja in, like, August, but I didn't get to go to that), minus local conventions.

Yeah, they're way too late to book something for Anime Expo. A lot of the events are scheduled an entire year in advance, shortly after the previous Anime Expo ends.

Hey we're both on the same boat. There aren't any locations nearby where I live either.

I'm slightly surprised about the stop at PNC. Kinda a crappy venue and ticket prices are triple what they are at the Mann :/
