so is this a straight re release of the 15th anniversary one with new features or did they up the screen quality to match the xros loader?

Honestly, their double/triple/quadruple dipping is so obvious, it's painful. After releasing the first two 15th Anniversary Digivices in Taichi and Yamato colors, they released a show-accurate colors version. And now they announce a 100% accurate Complete Selection version. I already feel cheated for purchasing the first two, thank goodness I skipped over the 15th Anniversary show-accurate colors version.

Finally they make something like this! I guess they'll give us a video about it in the Digimon Adventure Festival in less than two weeks, like they did with the 15th anniversary versions. Only then we'll see how good it is.

And yet they can't release the new series as a TV series any sooner.

Differing from the previously released 15th Anniversary edition, the Complete Selection Modification version is set to truly emulate the Digi-Destined experience with various lights and sounds to mimic those heard in the anime. It is also expected to retain many of the game functions found in previous Digivice toys.

if you familiar with Kamen Rider belt's Complete Selection Modification, it is made more like a replica than a toys, so it wont have a game function in it like the previous digivice lcd game before so the expected function could be:

-sound bipbip like in anime
-got clock function
-evolution gauge(with Brave Heart bgm?)
-the light change digivice color like when in cho-shinka(perfect level), the digivice in promotion pic like a semi transparent body so can easily replicate that

Yes, I'm 100% cognizant of that, being an avid collector and fan of Digimon. Not to mention, I own the CSM Kabuto Zecter and Decadriver and have the DiEnd Driver preordered.

What I meant to say is that they keep announcing better and better versions of the Digivice as if they're tying to get the fans to buy all of them. If they had made this known earlier, I wouldn't have bothered with the 15 Anniversary Versions as I bought them to be used as replicas and not for the LCD Game.

Also, why make another line when they have a perfectly great brand with PROPLICA.

I hope you don't find me too forward, good sir and/or ma'am, but I love you.

The sticker shock hasn't quite worn off but nonetheless this is fantastic news. I'm so glad I caved to my inner child and bought the first season box set.

While I am surprised that this is a CSM (well CSA) release rather than Proplica, the CSM line did exist long before Proplica did, so technically Proplica is "another line" to the CSM that they already had. I'm assuming that they're likely going with Proplica being their "girls" line and CSM/CSA being their "boys" line.

oh I see, I also more like a replica collector myself, I still keep those old digivices although its not working anymore, maybe I can clip those on bag pack like those kids in Digimon haha
I not against it as long it is regular release, but most Digimon merchandise are release as premium items which is sad for us old time fans

it is intended for different anime genre, PROPLICA is shoujo-seinen anime based while CSA is shounen, maybe we will get CSA Dragonball Z's power level scouter soon Laughing

and Bandai do separate their line like SHFiguarts and SHMonsterarts just to make life easier for collectors

So how likely is it going to be that people outside of Japan would be able to order one of these with relative ease right from the site? because unless the article is mistaken, this is a pretty good amount cheaper than the last re-release I heard about...but won't be if I have to rely on Amazon scalpers probably.

Not to mention the fun of finding this particular one listed on there.

I'm eyeing AmiAmi....I hope the pre-order pops up there! I haven't bought a Digivice since my (still-working) old ones from the 90s and early '00s, so a new one intrigues me for sure!
