Shaman King Creator's Nekogahara Collaborates with Nobunaga's Ambition Game

Hiroyuki Takei's manga about a samurai cat is the subject of a new crossover with Koei Tecmo's Nobunaga's Ambition (Nobunaga no Yabō) strategy role-playing video game series. The manga is collaborating with a specific mobile spin-off called Nobunyaga no Yabō where the characters are reimagined as cats.
Takei's manga's titular character, Nekogahara, will appear in the game and Takei will also draw a manga based on the game. The manga will appear in Shonen Magazine Edge's November issue on October 17.

Kodansha Comics licensed Nekogahara: Stray Cat Samurai in March and describes the story:
In medieval Japan, a bell hanging on the collar is a sign that a cat has a master. Norachiyo's bell hangs from his katana sheath, but he is nonetheless a stray—a ronin. This one-eyed cat samurai travels across a dishonest world, cutting through pretense and deception with his blade.
