Servamp TV Anime Casts Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Belkia

The September issue of Kadokawa's Monthly Comic Gene magazine is revealing on Thursday that Yoshitsugu Matsuoka will join the cast of the television anime of Strike Tanaka's Servamp manga. He will reprise his role in the manga's drama CDs as Belkia. The issue also reveals a new visual of Belka and Tsubaki.

The anime's previously announced voice cast includes:

• Takuma Terashima as Mahiru Shirota, a first-year high school student
• Yūki Kaji as Kuro, a servant vampire
• Hiro Shimono as Misono Arisuin, a first-year high school student and Lily's master
• Kazuma Horie as Snow Lily
• Ryōhei Kimura as Lawless
• Nobunaga Shimazaki as Licht Jekylland Todoroki
• Tatsuhisa Suzuki as Tsubaki

So far, all of the previously announced cast are reprising their roles from the drama CDs.

Seven Seas is releasing the manga in North America, and it published the third English volume in September. The publisher describes the story:

When a stray black cat named Kuro crosses Mahiru Shirota's path, the high school freshman's life will never be the same again. Kuro is, in fact, no ordinary feline, but a servamp: a servant vampire. While Mahiru's personal philosophy is one of non-intervention, he soon becomes embroiled in an ancient, altogether surreal conflict between vampires and humans.

Tanaka launched the series in Monthly Comic Gene in 2011. Kadokawa published the seventh compiled volume in Japan in December, and it shipped the eighth compiled volume on July 27.

The manga has previously inspired two drama CDs with the following cast:
