Four movies, all so rigidly formulaic that they could be sequential remakes. This is an entertaining set all told, but you can get the same experience (or better) by watching the first film four times.

Kids on the Slope Blu-Ray
Jazz music is much the stars as the main cast in this story about teens who become friends in late 1960s Japan. Great sounds and good character development bolster what is otherwise a fairly pedestrian character drama.
Dengeki Daisy GN 5this volume remains interesting, with Teru beginning to realize that adults don't have all the answers and that some things she will have to decide for herself. Add to that good progress on the romance front and some side characters showing real development along with the more central figures, and you have an entry into the series that is both engaging and enjoyable.
