If I am not mistaken this is the third simulcast from this season that Sentai is putting on Hulu but not on Crunchyroll.
I wonder if this means that Crunchyroll will eventually have no more Sentai simulcasts. If this becomes reality, in addition to Funimation getting more titles (including Aniplex USA's), Crunchyroll would be in serious trouble. |

CR still get better shows this season. Almost every season, in fact.

Their simulcast regions had a US-sized hole that tipped off this was going to be a Hulu exclusive. (See http://www.theanimenetwork.com/Blog/20160107776/pr-winter-2016-simulcasts ).They listed the following regions:

Yeah, really. I'm almost worried about them. They are certainly my preferred streaming platform, but it seems like no one wants to stream their titles there these days. It would be interesting to see the behind the scenes contracts and stuff. Is Hulu paying more? Is CR paying too little? Is Sentai getting stuck with streaming rights as part of a package? I'm very curious. I'm still passing on Hulu and just skipping the few shows that show up there for now. If one or two are interesting enough, I'll just suffer through the ads, I can't afford to add another $12 per month to the $20 I already pay between Netflix, CR, and Funi. Real life, unfortunately, has to come first. |

I know what ya mean. I pay for CR, Hulu, and Funi. Really want Netflix for some of their original content. Like the Marvels series, Knights of Sidonia, and upcoming Ajin. But you can get Hulu for 7.00 Usd a month if you don't mind commercials. You can get around the commercials if ya use an xbox 360 or or maybe xbox one to use Hulu. All you do is fast fwd less than 10 sec past where the commercial starts the hit play. it will skip comms and you can tell where comms start by the lines in the play bar. It sucks having to do that but it works everytime. That way you don't have top pay extra for the no comms subscription plan.
But ya still have to suffer the horrible yellow subs. |

^^ Interesting. I used to be able to do something like that on my PC by just clicking past the spot where the commercial was marked, but they fixed that. I might have to give that a try sometime just for the hell of it.
