There were several people, including ADV and Pioneer, who were interested in licensing the show. Well that's what I heard is all...but seeing Sailor Stars, to me, there would be plenty of objectional stuff I know tons of people would jump on even if the just didn't want to release it

Wait. Time out. They dubbed S, and there was enough to make even me, epitome of the ignorant masses think that there was something not usual between Michelle and Amara. (Heck, I spent half the season trying to figure out if Amara really was a girl.)
And, if I do remember correctly (via process of elimination, since I haven't seen it) Season 5 has the Starlights, which are a different story altogether (kinda) as well as the real death of the Senshi (as opposed to the fake deaths in Season 1). Too bad. I think I would've liked the Chibi Chibis for at least 5 seconds.

That could be very likely.

As long as the plot remains the same,it doesn't matter to me what they change the title to.Not much anyway.

Ichigo = Zoe
Minto = Corinna
Lettuce = Brigid
Pudding = Pinky
Zakuro = Renee
(don't know about Aoyama, Shirogane, Akasaka or the aliens)
Weapons:
Zakuro Spear = Purple Dagger
Mint Arrow = Heart Bow and Arrow
Lettucetanets = Morse Code Castanets
Pudding Rings = Golden Tamborine (goes with Golden Tamarin. How thoughtful of them.)
And the Strawberry Bell is the Strawberry Bell.
The opening theme song is rather nice, I have to add.
They're referring to the Chimera Animals as Zenaklons (sp.)

I don't think they were complaining about the changes, just listing them. If they were complaining it certainly didn't come across that way in their post, infact they made a comment on the music being nice.

I'd say it is. At least "Mori" & "Moore," "Ayumi" & "Amy," etc. sound somewhat similar...unlike, say, "Ichigo" & "Zoe" or "Mint" & "Corinna."

But what would you change them to? Those original Japanese names are all rather unusual and don't sound much like English names.
I am kinda glad they changed most of them, food names really sound weird in english since our idea of names are different than those of Japan (our names are just names, while Japanese names actually mean something) And really what do food themes have to do with animals? It's dropable IMO.

Well who names their kid Madison? Or Teá? Or Serenity? (However, there has been a Raye, and she became an American Gladiator.)

I say they should've left the original opening with english credits on it, and kept the original names...there are plenty anime out there that keep the original names...well 90% of the names anyway

Well, for the first time in history, 4kids dubbed an intro instead of making a new one. The intro was for One Piece. I don't know about MEw Mew though.

True, but she was at times in the dub referred to as Serenity, if I remember correctly. I don't remember hearing them call her Princess Serena in the dub....
