Brought an extension cord. The outlet is back at the beach restaurant or whatever, about 200 feet back |
That must be one damn long extension cord, then. Either that, or they brought several.
Nice strip this week.

Love the passerby expressions. From left to right: curiosity, confused disgust... and what looks like a red-head lurking just off frame, angry at what she sees.

seriously.
I did bring out a folding table to draw on. It was nice out and hearing the water helps concentration.

I guess the umbrella helps, but even on a cloudy day my laptop gets major glare outside. Must be one bright computer screen. Also pah. SPF 40?! Only the cool kids use SPF 85 I guess...

I always read on the beach. Almost never swim. Too cold.

actually, I remember when my anime club was discussing summer meetings, and we wanted to go to the beach for a meeting
and I was like ".....and sit around watching anime...on a beach?"
and everyone turns to me going "yeah? so?"
we ended up not doing it, but I'm just saying: The idea has crossed some fan's minds

The sad thing is that I have actually thought of doing this, but with an ipod.

Our group went to beaches and swimming pools several times. We did not watch anime while we there, instead our trips felt like anime. Mandatory beach episode, yep...

Streams? When the file is already on your computer it'll (unless it's corrupt) run smoothly regardless of internet connection.
Of course there's still the sun glare and other outdoor problems to deal with while watching anime on a beach.

Hope that laptop is one of those near indestructible military field laptops, or else they might as well write that one off as a lost cause once the salt air and sand start working their magic. But, all in all that sounds like a better time than going in the water or anything. I work on the ocean, so I prefer staying far, far away from it when I'm at home
