I thought this thread was for "Looking Up At The Half-Moon", not to rant about how we didn't like Your Lie in April. But in any case...

From what I've heard, it was also very poorly adapted. They somehow managed to shrink around 6 or 7 novels worth of content into 6 chapter, the last couple of chapters being mostly original content, which is why I'd really like to read the actual source material and check how it is.

Personally, I didn't hate it (I find myself unable to actually "hate" something, no matter what it is), but it would have been better if it had just played its clichés straight.
