This isn’t even out yet and I’m already wishing it was an Anime and not just a movie. I like Lio a lot. Rest of the cast looks pretty cool too

Edit: there’s 4(?) characters talking in the trailer, they already assigned a voice to the main character, then the blonde dude with the slicked back hair was assigned a voice and a female voice was assigned to the announcer(?). And then there was another MALE Voice that played when Who I assume was Lio in his costume thing ( since Lio is the leader and the costume resembles him ) was shown onscreen. If he ends up sounding like that in the movie, I will die.

If it hopefully turns out to be really dope & successful, they can turn it into a franchise.

We'd get sequel films and anime's if it proves itself to be a good moneymaker.

So no mention of the similarities to the upcoming Fire Force series which also already has an established manga?

...nope? Okiedoke.

To its credit, their main character doesn't fight fires in Hammer pants.

Little Witch Academia originally began as a short movie and it was successful enough they made a sequel and later a TV show so there's always hope for Promare.

Still haven't seen Gurren Lagaan, but I loved Kill la Kill so I'll definitely be giving this a watch.

They got the entire elite 4 from Kill La Kill in this movie.

Also it's Taiten Kusunoki not Kusonoki.

Trigger is creating all sort of interesting style choices. Lots of hyper action, bright colors and possibly hot-blooded seizure overload.

It reminds me more of that Firestarter game from FLCL.
