Can anyone who knows about the law and various other lawyerings confirm whether there any other potential ways for Vic to lose? Or is this basically as far as the case can go?

I don't think he's tried Judge Judy yet.

At this point the only people who are benefiting from this are the Victubbers who have more fonder for clickbait videos.

You would think he would just give up at this point, hell the company he tried to sue technically doesn’t exist anymore.

I wish ANN had run this story on Jan. 1 because that would be a way to start 2023.

He should really stop. He's becoming more and more of a laughing stock. He should just quit it and move on. He's no longer America's favorite anime voice actor.

God, if only we'd be so blessed.

There’s a strong chance here since the only potential appeal would be to the Supreme Court of the United States and as someone else mentioned it’s highly unlikely that they would care enough to to hear this,

Let's see, the original court has to re-determine the amount he owns for the defendants legal fees, probably markedly higher. There is still the imposition of fees for the two appeals. Any of those are also subject to appeal. Once that is finally settled, bankruptcy is possible, including litigation about attempts to hide funds, if any.

We may still be hearing about this for another five years or more. Of course by that time people will be saying "Vic who?" so it may no longer be news, even here. Once this is all over an his assets are all distributed, it will be interesting if we can find out who doesn't get paid. Most likely his lawyers, which would explain why they filed an appeal instead of telling him it was a lost cause.

I see this as already happening since this is by far the shortest thread we have had regarding Vic since the lawsuit began.

Already seen a couple people on Twitter insisting that this is evidence of something deeply wrong with our justice system

He’s a white middle class/upper middle class (or at least he was prior to these lawsuits) man.

And they think the criminal justice system screwed him!?

I'm not surprised by this news actually. Some politicians think they can decide instead of the American people. That drives me crazy.

It's the only thing keeping every joe huckster from having unlimited re-tries after they fail. But hearing "no" over and over until hearing a "yes" is his MO, so...
