Lack of Conan/Kaitou is disappointing. Their interaction and team ups are always awesome, especially in the movies. They have a deep respect for one another and it's a great dynamic.

Hmm...going by previously mentioned options that aren't in the poll, I'd consider joining the Humankind Empire Abh and the New Galactic Empire. Why? They're both what we could call lesser evils, in the grand scheme of things, and have fairly competent personnel all across the board.
Considering most of that is actually Foe Yay, if we're going by TV Tropes terms, then...it's fine.

What about Kira Yamato and Athrun Zala from Gundam SEED? Both are childhood friends who find themselves as enemies in a war and almost kill each other.

Naruto and Sasuke seem like such an obvious choice that their omission makes me think I'm missing something about the concept of frenemies.
So I'd add Kazuma and Ryuhou in s-CRY-ed. The only military I'd sign up for would be the Library Team Defense Force. At least protecting books from the censors is a cause I could get behind.

I thought the same thing, although they were more family than friends. There's also the obvious duo of Naruto and Sasuke, although they were never quite friends. |

Another two good fermented are Lina an Naga from Slayers! I said I'd join the Macross Frontier force, but I'd also like to join the Legrnd of the Legendary Heroes anti-Roland rebel force and To Aru Majutsu no Index's GROUP, if you count it. |

I voted for the Last Exile military organization, but only because Mithril (FMP) is not "official" and doesn't make the list. Who wouldn't want to work on the TDD?
As for the Frenemies list, it is missing one of my favorites: Taiga and Ami from Toradora! Their relationship is one that covers the whole gamut from rivals to closest of friends, and displays real character growth along the way. |

That is what I was thinking. Those two should be #1 hands down over Lupin III and Zenegatta. then there's also Amuro & Char from the original gundam series. And if your gonna put Lelouch and Suzaku in the list as close friendemines, then Kira and Athrin Zala from the series should get a mention. |
