This is terrible news. He was awesome as Ladd, Maes and Zenzou. RIP Keiji

Dreadfully harrowing news. I’m very upset to hear of his passing. Millions across the world will not forget the wonder he brought into people’s lives with his talent. Sincere condolences to his family and may he rest in peace

Even someone like me who doesn't know many VAs would be able to pick his voice out of a crowd. He will truly be missed. RIP

I always enjoyed his work. He was always fun to listen too as Axel or Ali or many, many of his other roles.
I will miss him.

Rest in Peace, Fujiwara-san. I'm still devastated since I got a kick out of hearing him as Reno once more, in Remake last weekend.

Despite seeing many of the shows he worked in, I don't think I've heard his performances outside of a few small roles, since I watched most of them in English. Even so, he's one of the very few Japanese voice talents whose names I know off the top of my head...he was just that prolific and influential. This is a massive and tragic loss to the whole anime community. Sad

This is going to hit home most in the HxH fandom since his 2011 Leorio was pitch perfect. Those are gonna be some big shoes to fill if we ever get more.

A truly exceptional voice actor who had a flair to make a memorable performance no matter the circumstance. May he rest in peace and may his family and friends be comforted at this difficult time.

Damn, its been hard to process that he's gone, I've been a huge fan of his for years, with Black Cat, FMA Brotherhood, Hunter x Hunter, Eureka 7, Gintama and many more.
His voice I got it memorized, may he Rest In Peace.

What kills me is we essentially lost Hughes twice now. Three times if you count original and Brotherhood. You will be missed. Anime cry

RIP, Fujiwara. He was great in everything he did, and his performance as Haku in Utawarerumono: Mask of Truth might be the best voice acting I've ever heard.
