Like a lot of things in life we have different branches of feminism. Stuff like porn, strippers, pole dancing, and other erotic material may be called degrading by one group but we've also seen them called empowering and being in charge of their own sexuality by other groups of feminists. It's an internal struggle feminism has been having for ages. The problem comes when you get people trying to insist one of those groups are true feminists. No True Scotsman is a common problem.

I can see why they're not releasing this game in America. I can't really blame them either. The community gets more and more hostile everyday. They just figure the secondary market isn't worth all the drama and hassle.

More like the Xtreme series never sold well here in the first place. So instead of them wasting time and money on localizing it,they feel that people who want it could just buy the import version.

Except it sold better outside Japan.

Geez, for people who claim to not care about the game, you guys sure seem to always have something to say about it.

This. I really don't know where the BUT THE WEST DIDN'T BUY IT!!! narrative came from. Did it sell a ton? No, but it's a niche game. It doesn't have to. They're still disregarding the bigger market for the game. The only one that sold more in Japan was the handheld DoA Paradise.

It was introduced in DOAX2. Hence the title of the article being, "DOAX3 to Bring Back Pole Dancing.

Anyone read Jim Sterling's Senran Kagura 2 review? No? Start reading!

That review gives a good idea at why they decided not to bring this game overseas.

Whoa. Shocked Shocked Shocked

I never knew. I only remember bits from the first game. Man you have to admit they are really heating things up.

I also want to extend a good job to Stuart Smith for adding a sense of logic and reason to the other discussion. Both sides need to be analyzed and discussed but it's really hard when you have such extremes to the point that no one cares to have reasonable discussions anymore. We've moved too far to start moving "backwards", and I feel that is becoming the case in some instances.

I'm fully aware of the current state of affairs. And I'll admit I really don't like where things are heading. But I'll end on that note. Wink Surprised

No, either you have poor judgement in video games and fail to use money correctly or that comment was made out to be a joke.
Confused

I'd rather play this than Fujoshi Fantasy XV. Or Boy Band Fantasy XV if you prefer.

You clearly don't know what "hentai game" means. There's no sex or even nudity in this, just swimsuits. Grand Theft Auto has strippers pole dancing and full nudity, does that mean it's a "hentai game" too?

I guess then you don't have the AO version of Grand Theft Auto San Andreas.

also i have played ero games before (Shuffle, Kanojo x Kanojo x Kanojo , Sister Princess , Fate/Hollow Ataraxia) and unfortunately the Xtreme Beach Volleyball version of DOA is anything but ero.

Full of hardcore fanservice to warrant its M rating? YES. BUT , its definitely not an ero game at the slightest.
