"Figures and games"? Does that mean that they'll start localizing them?

Nope, they just sell them.

I believe they've stated the royalties amount to over half their income.

I will buy a subscription when the amount needed to pay will depend of the animes that are available in Your country. I will not pay the same amount that US is paying where they can watch over 20 animes in one season and I could only watch 5 from them.

Yeah, there's no reason globalization should be so hard in 2013. That being said, it is improving.

I only watch legally and I only subscribe to Crunchyroll and only buy anime which streams there either simulcast or library titles. So it is Crunchyroll or I don't see it. Glad they are growing!

I pay for Funimation's streaming service and it's god-awful.
I regret every month that I've been on.
I don't know why I haven't cancelled yet since it's very apparent that it's likely not gonna get better.
Don't know what Anime Network is like nowadays, but the ineptness of how they had the credit card system set up from when I was on was really up there.
Crunchyroll, I love.
Will keep feeding them my monies.

I bought two crunchyroll accounts
one for me and one for my sister in law whom I bought a roku for christmas
what you have to understand-
most likely a large portion of the newest subscribers in the last two years purchase the black friday yearly special which is about ~50$
so figuring in the monthly charge as total profit is wrong
that would still put them over 10$million a year though

funimation has the BEST HD quality out of any streaming site... when it works... and only on select titles.

What's the bitrate on those streams? CR seems to have a standard "one-size-fits-all" approach, which really hurts motion/action-heavy pieces, but adequate for all of the static shots.

I don't know about quality or whatever (I assume it's not as good as owning a blu-ray, which I've been too lazy to watch nowadays anyway), but this particular set of words catches my eye...
Because it don't work a lot of the time.
The rage in the elite forums is hilarious, though I should really just do the right thing and cancel my subscription...
