I most enjoyed seeing the McLaren Technology Center / Paragon building, the base of the McLaren Formula One team (and a few other divisions of the parent company) make a very brief appearance, although it was the baddies who were using it, IIRC. I was reminded of the Centre Pompidou building's appearance in Penguindrum. ^^

Eh, the second season's first episode was okay I guess. The first half was pretty exciting with the action. The second half was alright although I felt some spoiler[deja vu moments similar to Season 1's first episode involving Haruto and L-Elf. The talk about the Runes is probably a prominent feature in this show as well as that ending.] Next week looks like Akira gets more screen time so I'm happy with that. |

Oh God I just realized he shares the same VA as the crazy teddy bear one in Daibolik Brothers. I basically have a love/hate relationship with the characters voiced by this guy. I hate the 2 just mentioned + Haruyuki from Accel World. But I liked him when he voiced Eren, Issei, Subaru, and Akina. |

I assume that Haruto isn't going to bend L-Elf over and start going at it, even though I'm pretty sure that's what the plot says should happen. I'm guessing that particular "WTF" moment isn't in the Sunrise Viewer Manipulation Guidebook, which probably exists, considering how Sunrise original shows are written these days. It would be an interesting commentary on how pandering works, though.

I realized over summer how much missed the insanity. Glad it's back. Good new outfits. My only concern for now is if L11 will still get enough opportunities to go all one man army from time to time since becoming part of the political movement. And there seem to be signs of doubt among the other letter/number kids regarding their captain. Maybe there's room for more defections?

After seeing some glimpses in the last season as to why Akira turned into such a recluse, we finally got some more information. spoiler[It all happened because she tried to help her brother who in turn was being pressured by their parents to get into a good school.]
Was it mentioned in the last series that spoiler[Marie has amnesia] by the way? Because I don't remember that coming up before. |
