As Funi's November pre-order slate is now up, I just went ahead and pre-ordered Handa-kun and Genocidal Organ.

As if the mountain of items you acquired at Otakon wasn't sufficient! (Will you be taking that collapsable trolly to carry your purchases next time?)

Yes, but I didn't buy any anime at Otakon, only manga (and prints and stuff). I only had the collapsable trolly this time due to my recent surgery, but damn is that thing handy, it will come with me to future cons, that is for sure.

Comic shop again!
Assassination Classroom 17
Golden Kamuy 2
Kuroko's Basketball 13/14, 15/16
Love Stage 7
Nirvana 1
Queen's Quality 1
Ten Count 5
Finishing one series, starting another! Not counting Queen's Quality as a "new" series though, since it directly carries on from QQ Sweeper (I think it basically just changed magazines and had to change names for some odd reason, it's not like QQ Sweeper had a solid "ending", it knew it was continuing in another magazine). Also picked up the 4th Invader Zim paperback (and now I feel old).
Wasn't expecting to get Kuroko 15/16, seems some of the October releases are out in the wild! I was hoping to find the last Kamisama Kiss there too, but eh, they're trickling out at least (maybe next weekend). Still need them to get in the last Tokyo Ghoul too.
But alas, no Kodansha, so I probably will place an order on RS sometime this weekend.

I did the same, although I'm not entirely sure why. I am a dub fan, and a Lisa Ortiz fan, but I think the original Japanese was a big part of the whole ARIA experience for me. And by that I mean the "healing" thing, I don't think would have worked with me in English.
Anyway, when did Funimation's LE prices skyrocket? I remember the MSRP being only $5 above the regular edition, which was around $69. Now they're $85+ Never any good sales, even on Amazon anymore. I remember buying LEs there for $35.99 just a year or two ago.

@ Akaname - I had to think about it a little, myself. I already own the DVD LEs, which I haven't even watched yet. I don't mind dubs, but I can live without them. The artwork for Aria seems fairly simple so the switch to Blu-ray isn't a huge factor for me. Despite those feelings I took the plunge anyway. It's an interesting campaign and I guess I just wanted to be part of it!

There's been less sales for Funi stuff roughly in the last 2 years, but they do still happen. It seems the best time is around xmas. IIRC last year Tokyo Ghoul LEs season 1 &2 were going pretty cheaply in the $35-40 range, same for Rage of Bahamut, Blood Blockade and a few others. Some of the Classic line has been relatively cheap on Amazon in the past couple of months with Steins Gate complete series going for $25 and FMP! for less than $20 at one point. Lately they seem to be trying to control the number of LEs they put out. Sentai on the other hand has been putting out quite a few LEs with some being a bit elaborate in packaging while having more sales especially thru their online store.

Almost forgot to get some things in on the Kodansha RS sale!
Frau Fause
I Hear the Sunspot 1
Noragami 18
Princess Jellyfish 5, 6
Seven Deadly Sins 21, 22
Vinland Saga 9
For new series, I tend to either need to find them at the library or find them cheap at my comic shop, but Sunspot and Frau Faust are both pretty safe bets (Sunspot because I've already read some, and Frau Faust because Ancient Magus' Bride). There's other Kodansha things that I need, yes, but these are the ones I most wanted.

Small comic shop day, but a solid one, nonetheless
Devil is a Part-Timer manga 9
Erased 2
She and Her Cat
Water Dragon's Bride 3
I also pre-ordered YS Origin from Limited Run Games (there's an unlimited amount of this game, for once, but the ordering window itself is quite small). Ever since my PS4 broke down (even though I got it back fixed), I've been a bit wary of it, so I went with Vita on this one
