I'm really hoping we'll get this manga in English soon. The art is gorgeous, and it seems like the sort of thing that would really fly off shelves given how many college students are into Disney princesses over here.

True. It has definite cross-over appeal. I wish these OADs would make their way to the US. Even when the manga is published in the US they don't include the OADs from the original in the US version.
I will be looking for this one, definitely. |

Even when the series are streamed usually these stand-alone episodes are not included when released. Crunchyroll doesn't have the extras for Kill la Kill or for Suisei no Gargantia, to name just two. Heck, neither Sentai nor CR bothered even to replace the final episode of Gatchaman Crowds with the revised "Director's Cut" version that makes the events portrayed much clearer.
I can see the value to the publisher of limiting access to the extra episodes to encourage manga sales, but that strategy only works if access can actually be restricted. We all know that world has long passed. |
