One of my favorite singers... I don't think I'll ever be able to not cry while listening to his music anymore...
What do I even say right now...? I think I'm in denial in my heart... |

Goddamit, another young, talented person passes away due to this stupid disease. Butter Fly has become one of my favorite anisongs these days, and this are sad news.

Wow, absolutely unbelievable. I just woke up and heard the news from a fellow Digimon fan. Just...damn it.

One of the voices of my childhood. I will hear his songs for many years to come.
He will definitely never be forgotten. |

I was just listening to his songs the other day. And he passed away on my birthday too. R.I.P Kouji Wada.

I never even been a fan of Digimon but Butter-fly was a real classic. This is sad news.
When he performed at Animelo a few years ago it gave me the impression that he got tired too quickly for someone singing only one song, which even made me think he was older. |

With Wada's death, this series won't be the same without him. I mean, he made Digimon, Digimon. His music gave it a sense of individuality amongst the Mons clones and it stood tall where most fell off. I will remember him for not only introducing it to our generation but also, his unwavering resolve up to the end of his life.

No! I grew up listening to all of his songs with Digimon and now it's going to be sad knowing that the series will no longer be the same without him as he is synonymous with the franchise.
Man, with all of the great names we've lost this year to cancer, the overall message with this is that cancer freaking sucks! R.I.P. Kouji Wada, Digimon fans around the world will never forget you! |

This is the WORST! His voice IS Digimon and now it feels so lost!
R.I.P Mr. Wada! 2016 is the Diaboromon of Life! |

I grew up loving watching Digimon and my local dub actually kept the music,so Kouji Wada's singing was part of my childhood (instead of that crap Saban shoved down on everyone's throat in the english dubs,we dodged a bullet by not using Saban's version as basis...) and this was really sad news.
And it was really sudden because we knew he had cancer but it seemed he was recovering fine, especially when he was working in Tri... |

**overcome with grief**
I feel sick in my heart whenever I hear that another creator who made such an enormous impact in the industry I love is lost to us. RIP Wada-sensei bless you and yours |
