Yikes. I think this movie deserved a better dub than this. Taki sounds *alright*, but Mitsuha sounds terrible. Like others have said, she sounds like a mid 30's woman trying to sound like a teenager, and it's the worst thing ever. Can't wait for the sub to get a release, digitally or otherwise.

I dunno. She doesn't sound much different from when she voiced Mamimi in FLCL nearly 15 years ago.

The 4 historically major dubbing locations (LA, NYC, Texas, and Vancouver) are getting some representation here (Erin Fitzgerald used to do some Ocean Group dubs). The only other time that has been done was with the FMA dub.

Mitsuha sounds really terrible imo, Stephanie doesnt capture Mitsuha's personality I prefer her doing the ADR directing only. The girl who's voicing Naho from Orange(dub) should be a better choice. But I guess with the limited budget of NYAB this is only for the oscar showcase

Well,looks like "your name's" dub's shaping up to be a pretty good one. Like with "Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them,"they're both movies I'm looking forward to seeing.
