In spite of being a longtime Digimon fan, I've never got to play any of the console games before as I never had any Playstation systems, so I'm really hyped to get to play a Digimon console game for the first time. I know Nintendo had a few Digimon games on the GBA though I didn't have much of an interest in those games, but it still feels weird to see a Digimon game on the same system as Pokemon.

I suppose it's too much to hope that they'll actually clean up the absolute trainwreck they called an English localization. It's about as bad as NISA's original Ys VIII translation, except Bamco doesn't have anyone holding them to a particular level of quality since it's their own game.
They could at least let the person(s) who translated it (presumably from an Excel sheet) play the game for themselves and revise. Context would fix so much of what went wrong. |
