The most I've got is Urusei Yatsura -- I've got much of the early run in a mix of Bunkou, Wideban, Tankoubon and those 200Y cheapie editions, plus some of the animanga done back in the day.

A close second has to be Lupin III.

Hmmm....let's see here:

I have all 21 vloumes of Kare Kano, all 18 volumes of
Sailor Moon (I wish they would re-release these in their unflipped form), all 18 volumes of Peach Girl and 2 of the Sae's Story (some people connect them as one series, others see the spin off as something completely different), and all 14 of Love Hina. It's not as long, but I also have all 12 volumes of Hot Gimmick.

They probably won't ever re-release Sailor Moon, there are no longer any licenses for it outside of Japan (I think, at the very least they definitely do not exist in North America), and as far as I have heard Naoko Takeuchi has no desire to do re-negotiations with the original company that handled all her work because of a falling out...

My longest series is probably Please Save My Earth, with my being able to pick up the final volume next month, it will be at 21 volumes...Those are followed by Angel Sanctuary, Sensual Phrase, Fushigi Yugi, Sailor Moon...

I thought I heard somewhere that Red River had like 28 volumes, and if that is true that will be my longest Anime smile

I also love longer series, I prefer them much more to one-shots and shorter series because I get hooked to the characters, although I do understand that manga can get to a point where it's like "enough already, end the damn story!"

Well, for me..I think it's Inuyasha, but I have volumes 7-26 of Bleach. The thing is, I have so much manga that it's really hard for me to keep track of. If percentage counts, it's definetely Cardcaptor Sakura( I got the whole series really cheap at this manga convention).

The most of any manga series I've got would be Death Note, since I have volumes 1-9. Second would be Claymore, in which I vols 1-6. Third would be Fullmetal Alchemist, as I have volumes 1-5.

One Piece, of all titles. Though I'm a harsh critic of the lackluster production job, I own the newest six volumes. Embarassed

GTO follows with four volumes, with one Fruits Basket and Hot Gimmick volume in last place. Almost everything else I've read that wasn't dubiously legal was through the public library system.

I have all except three volumes of Ayashi no Ceres (11 volumes), all of Petshop of Horrors (10 volumes), 10-ish random volumes of Kare Kano, 10-ish random volumes of Fruit's Basket, and I think 8 of Kodocha. Generally, I have three or four volumes each of everything else (and I have 130-ish manga total). I'd really like to finish obtaining certain series, especially the unfinished ones I mentioned above. Need to get my hands on some more money though, gah.

So far Rurouni Kenshin: I've got all 28 volumes. Inu-Yasha's a close second, since I have the first 27. I'm a couple volumes behind with all of my shonen series, but I'm not exactly raring to buy them first since I've read most of them through scanlation (I do intend to buy them all eventually though).

Plus several other in the 7-10 range.

As a person early did, I also highly recommend Banana Fish to read, it's a great title.

How many GTOs are there? I know there are three Gumis out, but I wasn't certain about the original series.
