This is awesome. I absolutely loved the anime series, and over the last few months I watched the series all over again, and I had every bit of fun watching it this go-around as i did the first time around.
I'd love to see this become an OVA series, not just a single one-shot. Fewer episodes but longer episode lengths, no worries about an inadequate animation budget, more time to develop characters and present stories. And if the English cast is retained -- yeah, even Sonny Strait as Apachai -- it would be the icing on a very exciting and delicious cake.
