Effective 3/25 Cartoon Network is splitting into two digital only channels (on Comcast anyway) ... this could be interesting. Too bad CN/AS websites are too important to have any sort of "news" section for confirmation or to find out what they plan on doing with the second channel.
While I would hope for an all anime network (they do admit its a great investment for solid returns,) anything but more Boomerang would be an acceptable option. Up until the point they start playing AS/anime against each other on both networks while giving us a "but we doubled how much is shown" line. Unless they would like to buy me one of them new dual-tuner HD-TiVos. Then I would be fine with it. [EDIT] ... oh, crud ... I just realized that means you will HAVE TO use a TiVo after the 25th, because no other DVR is CableCard capable (outside of the more expensive media servers.) Damn them all. *sigh* Time to dust off the eBay account and go a-shopping. That or hope the IR blaster decides to be reliable for once in its life. |

Come on, your cat wasn't even trying. I actually think a monkey would be better. You might even get some Shakespeare out of it. Or maybe not. But the results would be amusing. Kittens are cute, cats are cool, but monkeys are hilarious. If a monkey is too hard to handle, try a parrot. Yes, use a dictophone, and record all the rude words you taught it to say. |

Yup. That repeated episode worried me a bit that perhaps G4 Canada hadn't managed to get the entire run of 'Second Barrage' from Geneon after all, but now things seem to be back to normal and proceeding well. |
