It took me only five minutes to find a torrent of complete 35 episodes; you just have to know more languages then.
Sadly, there's no one sharing this old title. |
I've been searching for it forever.. where did you find it??

It was serialized for quite a long time and I think if lack of an audience was the reason it would have been removed sooner. Mainly I think they just want to showcase a lot of different series. After all, NANA did get pulled out and it's the biggest series SB has (of course it also does now have an M rating which definitely would have played into that decision, though I still question how absolutely necessary that was). |
Well considering Shojo Beat is afraid of nipples and edits them out of NANA, it seems like the only logic next step was to ban NANA from the mag after what goes on next, lol.
Fear the nipples!

Not yet.
Volume 7 is coming out next Tuesday, and there are 11 more after that.

I sort of remember seeing a few eps of this a long time ago... Searching around I found a few places supposedly offering it, but I will see later on if they are real or not.
I like Mama is a 4th Grader better - it had a much lighter theme to it. I still would like to see all of that one...

I was watching that too, but the subbers haven't updated.

Exactly what I was gonna say.
I love the manga more than the anime myelf, because the manga has more raw quality than the anime.

I love this column, lately I've been getting bored of anime so its nice to find things that are off the beaten path. I wish they'd profile Tenshi na Konomaiki. That's my personal buried treasure.

I've heard of this series, though to be perfectly honest, I'll probably never watch this series. At least this series doesn't look like its all about drama or pretty boys. I tried watching Suzuka and now I know why I don't like drama too much.
Hopefully more interesting buried tresure will be reviewed. Though the last review was both entertaining, yet quite odd.

No offense, but referring to Suzuka as a drama is sort of like pointing to Baywatch as an example of porno.

Agreed! Cheeky Angel had some of the coolest music, too. 'least the manga got licensed.

I don't want to sound ignorant, but I had to ask; I've been buying a lot of Central Park Media DVD lately and I've noticed that monsieur Sevakis name appears on the credits from times to times normaly under In House Production (nothing you don't know), since I've been reading the Buried Treasure column for sometimes now I have a vague idea, but what's exactly In House Production?
Ps: Speaking of CPM what about a buried treasure on The Izu Dancer (or maybe just the Animated Classics of Japanese Literature).

Quote: | And as for the thought of his dad someday remarrying... well, that's just unthinkable! |
I'm sensing a recurring theme in anime and a possible cliche here. Examples:
In Kodocha, when Akito's mother dies giving birth to him, his father never thinks about remarrying (at least from the first 35 episodes and a couple other fansub episodes I've seen in the past)
In Dragon Ball Z, when Goku dies not once, but twice, ChiChi never tries to hit on Yamcha or any other minor male character in the series
In Bleach, when Ichigo's mother is killed by a hollow, his father never gets around to remarrying (at least at the point where the dub is on [as]).
In Paranoia Agent, one of the cops is a widower who never remarried after his wife died.
I'm sure there are many more, but those four are all I think think of right now.

This is a true gem. I'll be blunt. AB is nothing compare to this title. I watch this numerous times and it always gives me warm fuzzy feeling. I don't think it has been completely subbed yet. Luckily I was able to find a VCD set of this from Yesasia (which is no longer available.)

I'm interested too Justin.
You seem to have worked on putting trailers together, did you do things like select cover art and menu design, or writing liner notes? Recommend product for television broadcast? Subtitling?
