John's comment on AoD makes it sound like its MB's and MB's alone. Between this, confirmation that GaioGaiGar will be completed and in a nice cheap set to boot, and the news that he's got two more in line (odds that one of them is Nanoha seem very, very high), this has been a very good week for MB as far as I'm concerned. |

Most of us would consider it a rescue because we now get to buy the DVDs, but it's not a "true rescue" (assuming that I understand what you mean by that - that MB has acquired all rights) because Geneon is still "managing its portfolio." But neither is Media Blasters 'simply acting as a distributor', since they'll be handling physical production and marketing (a big deal that) as well as distribution (i.e. the things associated with selling DVDs that Geneon got out of the business of doing). |
