Yeah, same feelings here. It's annoying to see, but sometimes...

Maybe I'm wrong, but it seems that Kevin indirectly told Nina that he thinks she is hot.
This reminded me of Ritsu Kasanoda from Ouran. Don't expect miracles from cat ears. |

Do they actually sell stuff like that? I so want some!
I have no idea what I'd do with them, but they are SO cute, I see the appeal of wanting them. Nice comic. |

Yeah, I think so too. That part about "When the girl is hot..." is a hint that he thought she was hot before she put the mittens on. Looks like the phrase "Kevin reveals his true colors" is a double-entendre. He likes girls with mittens, and he thinks Nina is hot. Nina wearing cat-mittens is an excellent combination in his eyes. Cue ongoing and unresolved sexual tension between them, a la Cheers. Let's just hope Kevin never gets drunk and tries to show Nina what he learnt at that Hentai panel way back in strip #7. |

So does that mean Nina should be wearing the gloves while she and Paola are making out in front of Kevin?
(Elf/Fangirl yuri! Giggity-giggty!) |

Oh gawd that was funny. And of course the take them screaming is priceless. I guess cat paws and cat ears = cute. Just ask 'Felicia'.

I agree, as long as I don't have to see it. |

Anime fans have an unusual fascination with catgirls... Kevin's absolutely right; cute girls + cat accessories = win. Sometimes, in actual series, catgirls are done in a normal way (Tokyo Mew Mew). Sometimes, they're done in a weird way (UFO Ultramaiden Valkyrie; Catgirl Ray Gun, anybody?). But we love them all the same.
I've had a friend dress up as one in real life; it was quite entertaining, actually. Even if she is a screaming, annoying sort of fangirl. Well, maybe that was part of why it was funny, but whatever... ^^ |

Yes, sometimes people can show their true sides and be 'creepy'

I think he meant "Beauty is in the Eye of the Beerholder." Anyways, is this comic strip trying to say something... And people say the Sarah Palin SNL skit was sexist! |
