Yes, it's disappointing that Squeenix chose to remake Final Fantasy Adventure (Seiken Densetsu 1) instead of Sword Of Mana. SwoM had two playable main characters and a lot of added details and content. SD1/FFA had only one main character.

I'll never understand how they SE managed to completely blow their chances with the Seiken 2, 3 and (Yes, even this one) 4 multiplayer formula. Children of Mana might have actually worked...if they didn't forget to make it a story driven RPG, seriously it was right there in front of them and they pooped all over it.
Now we get this? And some hackneyed mobile caca? At least remake Seiken 2, Christ. |

While this is one of my favorite games for the portable, this game has been remade to DEATH!! I mean, there was one other Mana game and it was NEVER released. Fans had been begging for a release of that game for YEARS!!! Why Square, why??? Why do you keep doing this?
There are so many games that haven't been released that could have been released on the portable systems and Square hasn't done anything except release, and re-release updated versions of their older catalog. That's not good enough. Gee I wonder if the Japanese gamers aren't tired of this considering the LAST mana game came out on mobile phone some years ago. |
