I think they'll go with the NY Knicks now that they've gone back to their blue unis. I just can't imagine them ignoring NY, even if the uniforms were puce.

Is there some reason why they all have James-Bondian numbers like 006 rather than just 6 as NBA players actually do?

Is this all happening on the Japanese side, or are the NBA teams themselves involved in some way? I watch a bit of the Celtics from time to time and have never heard anything about this.

Even if the Knicks suck right now, you can't leave them out.
