Hmm, if L'arc en ciel was touring 7-8 years ago, I'd go. I've kinda outgrown them. But that's cool that they're touring here in the US. Now, if only Hikki would tour....

I'm afraid Utada's Exodus album was a big setback for her US career...It's totally unfair, but she probably won't get another push over here anytime soon.

It's nice to know that The Spirits Within didn't hurt L'Arc. And Utada just didn't seem to stand out like, say, Puffy Ami Yumi.

That's a good point, but I think the film bombed so badly that nobody in the trendsetting circles even noticed L'Arc was in it. |

Given how terrible it was...I mean "You're easy-breezy and I'm Japanese-y." Who on Earth would green light a song like that? I enjoy several of her Japanese releases, but I'm very glad I heard a few of the new songs on Launchcast before I made the mistake of buying that album. But that's just my opinion. I really do feel that a much better cd could be put together. So many of her Japanese songs are half in English as it is, so I don't understand how she ended up with lyrics like I listed above... |
