So bowser wasn't satisfied with the mushroom kingdom so now he's taking over NOA? The koopa is ambitious, I'll give him that.

Damn, I hope his body is ready for whatever he has planned next.

Also love that the guy replacing him is literally named Bowser, I like to think that was important in the decision to promote him. Laughing

So, if the next Mario game somehow turns out to be terrible, the jokes will write themselves, right?

He leaves Nintendo in good hands with a great legacy. One of the most visible and honest executives the medium could hope to have. He's earned his retirement

That was all the time he had.
He had to get back to playing Animal Crossing New Leaf on his Nintendo 3DS.

I still remember reading an article in an Nintendo magazine I had as a kid when Reggie became president, time does fly fast. Nintendo went through some changes and they achieved great success, but there were also some bumps in the road. I whish Reggie good luck in his new endeavors.
Now, I wonder how different is going to be Bowser's involvement, I know that he will have to face the same questions like if Mother 3 is going to be officially translated, new characters for Smash Bros., a new Virtual Console, etc.

This news just as rumors of Microsoft and Nintendo partnering up for bringing Xbox's streaming platform to switch is also interesting timing wise. Wonder if this was the last deal Reggie was negotiating...

I'll give Doug Bowser a couple of years to prove himself.

He's already proven himself, Doug Bowser led all the marketing on the Switch. The guy knows what he's doing.
