I saw the listing for 12 Kingdoms the other day and didn't realize it was a new license. Should have remembered that Eastern Star hadn't released it before.
If the quality is there, I'll probably double dip on it.

Surprised to see Nagasarete Airantou, I figured that would never be picked up, but I guess that's Discotek's speciality. I stopped reading the manga quite a while ago, but I might just pick this up on nostalgia to support the release.

This anime was a huge disappointment.

It is a very long anime and it continues even after the main act has ended.
It even tells the story of othet characters of the world.

There are many ups and downs and unfortunately when it starts to become good again it suddenly ends and by now there is 0% chance of it ever being finished.

Anime ending without finishing the rest of the source material is pretty normal unfortunately. I go into most anime based on a long novel or manga series expecting this as a possibility.

Ahh, Nagasarete Airantou...The one of the first few anime I've watched online long ago. I will gladly get this anime when it comes to the stateside. I liked its opening intro.

Now if only Discotek can acquire Rurouni kenshin and put it on blu ray that would be amazing and a day 1 buy for me.

Aniplex has the license for that series so discotek has no chance of releasing it.

Such a shame about about Sonic X, is there was legal barrier to releasing the original version. I can not see many people salivating over the 4Kids version, it's not like it's Pokemon or Yu Gi Oh, where a lot of people have fond memories of 4Kids version. Season 2 never even came out in Japan, and the only way to watch it is via the French release.

While highly unlikely, it would be great if at some point, SEGA or some other publisher would commission a new dub from Studiopolis.

Nagasarete Airantou now that takes me back to when i first started watching anime, this was one of the few licenses that i hoped might get licensed by Discotek as i did not think any other licensor had an interest in it. Thank you Discotek for bringing and old nostalgia fav for me to own Smile

Nagasarete Airantou!!!!!! I nearly fell off my chair! I've been wanting this picked up for years after watching it on line. I can't wait to add it to my collection.
