if i had to take a guess at the plot based on the photos i would guess Rin got an office lady job in Tokyo or some other big city and she doesn't go camping anymore while Nadeshiko still lives in the countryside and goes camping all the time, so she invites Rin and the rest of the gang for one more big trip.

The photo with Rin in it looks off, they kept her face but with the suit on, it looks like they just elongated her body.

Either way i love the series and can't wait for the movie.

Looking forward to spending a relaxing time with our now adult campers. I would be willing to bet that they get together whenever they can for a winter camp, and have done it traditionally through college.

There were some old friends that held traditions like this, hiking and such, through the series. The only sad thing is this may be the end of the show.

By the way fans, Yama no Susume (Encouragement of Climb) is an older show in this vein and well worth watching, especially second and third seasons. Yurucamp is probably better though in my book.

Well they could do a backwards time jump to have the girls in the final year of high school.

On a potentially sad note, Rin is shown with a Triumph Thruxton 1200R, which likely means she inherited the bike from her grandfather (or if he is still alive, he is no longer riding). I would love to be able to ask Afro why the Thruxton when the Street Scrambler, Bonneville T100, Bonneville T120, Scrambler 1200, Speed Twin, and Street Twin from Triumph's Modern Classics line would all be much better choices for traveling on, since unlike the Thruxton none force the rider into a contorted position.
