I wish more live action manga/anime/animation adaptions did this. Instead of live action Bebop, how about a series of tales on another bounty hunters that are tangentially related? I always feel making a new story in an existing world is way easier than recreating a beloved classic.

That's a very good question. I suppose they only ever want the biggest names in Anime, regardless of how it would translate into live action.
