how much is an actual "70 min" episode after you remove all the commercial breaks? 40 min as it is usually is?

Small ads and commercial breaks take ~5-6 minutes, considering the usual 24-minute length of the episode in the 30-minute slot. So yeah, from this "70 minutes episode" it's safe to say that it's gonna be actually a 40-45 minutes long. |

The more important question is will like last time there be an announcement at the end of broadcasting re what’s next like last season
In m putting money on a 2 part finale film to cover the remaining arcs: spoiler[ - Hashira training - 1 infinity castle - final battle ] Would be better than a series Or maybe TV special followed by film [EDIT: Added spoiler tags as a courtesy. -TK] |

You are absolutely bugging if you think spoiler[ hashira training + infinite castle + final battle can be done in 2 films. just the infinite castle needs 24 episodes. it's a very long arc. ] current arc was much shorter and it had 12 episodes.

is there only 1 commerical break per episode? if so it doesn't quite add up. assuming 2 or even 3 commercial breaks in this "70 min episode", then the episode should still be about 50 minutes, a little more |

Usually 2 - one after the OP and then a half way one.
If theres post ED stinger there can be 3 - OP, half way and after the ED |

Since the first season was two cours, I expected that to be the default moving forward... the second season had the bizarre episode count of 18 (probably a consequence of the Mugen Train arc covering what had already been done with the movie), and then this season only goes for a single cour... sure, the beginning and ending are longer, but still, that's kinda weird, right?
