Whatever his final film is, it'll probably be completed by someone else and released after his death. Assuming anyone's willing to take that task on; a Dreaming Machine scenario is just as likely.

Is it just me or "The Final" word is being use for marketing or promotion purpose ? just like Gintama or AOT Final

Seriously, "final" has become as meaningless in the public square as "fact" and "truth." Lewis Carroll saw it coming way back in 1872: "When I use a word," Humpty Dumpty said in rather a scornful tone, "it means just what I choose it to mean--neither more nor less." Anno will convince Miyazaki to embrace technology and upload his brain to a computer or robot. Then Anno will make a movie about the Miyazaki-bot making movies.
