I didn't expected to see so much LN from this year reaching top 10 so fast, it seems like we got a good crop this year. It was about time for Ototenshi to reach first place ( let's just make a Mahiru based religion already ).
Ototenshi, Alya-san, Youjitsu, Sasaki, Ishura and Tanmoshi are pretty much assured to stay/return in next year's ranking with their anime/sequel incoming.

Rifujin making it top 4 even a year after Mushoku Tensei concluded is a testament to how much people still like and more new fans keep coming to read it( The anime is a great adaptation too so it helps)

Saekisan making it to no.1 is great as well, The Angel Next Door story is very wholesome and yet so inspiring. Now people understand why it is getting more of the anime adaptation which is also a decently adaptation of the books.

Fuse and Mitz Vah's are still killing it with their Tensei slime books. i mean heck they crossed the threshold of being the best selling light novel series ever by a large margin.

Daisuke Aizawa with Eminence of Shadow is making quite a splash, i have yet too see it but i heard mostly good things about it and it is on my to watch and read list.

Touko Amekawa and Wan Hachipisu's 7th Time Loop: The Villainess Enjoys a Carefree Life i am also looking forward to it's anime adaptation if it is ranked this high even before it aired, it has to be quite a good story.

Not much to say for the others as i have not either read or watch their anime but best wishes to all of them for their work with this achievement. I applaud you and hope for the best. Smile

The novel series has exceeded 13 million copies in circulation so far, so it's pretty popular. I'm waiting for when he starts the rumored sequel series, which should be about Roxy's daughter as protagonist I think?

They had already made a post on Twitter/X that he will not be writing the sequel series until the anime adapts the entire story and finishes Orc Eiyuu Monogatari: Sontaku Retsuden” So we got another 6 years or so he said 3-8 i gave 6 as an average.

Meaning we have to wait till around the end of the decade for it. Which is fine, they have been writing it for over a decade and just finished.

A little Time off and time to do other things is very healthy for a writer, especially with how the industry is. They still write some side stories and extra lore events from time to time too.

This is the original post he made last year about it: https://i.stack.imgur.com/rz50J.png

Huh, those are some actually interesting light novels. I was expecting boring sameshit LNs, or a bunch of Isekai stuff, but they're mostly romance or drama of some flavor. Ototen being on top makes me glad - I really enjoyed the anime, it gives me exactly what I want from reading Yuzusoft VNs but with honestly less BS and better pacing. I'd be glad to watch a second season of it, especially as they're now publicly going out.

You have any idea where the latest Monogatari light novels are in the ranks? Specifically Shinomonogatari and Ikusamonogatari? I'm just curious because I'm currently watching the anime adaptation and really enjoying it.

Be it Ikusamonogatari the latest standalone, the recent Shinomonogatari serie or any other entry for that matter, are nowhere in the full list ( top 50 https://preview.redd.it/zx4s8bsyhf2c1.png?width=2000&format=png&auto=webp&s=8465ef5183c4b9b34971e3cf03b4f85408b81dd1 ) so it's hard to compare them with the others LN from the ranking, however basing on their amazon.jp ranking, the sales of the Monogatari franchise for a while now seem to be just better than avarage which is understandable and impressive enough considering the length and the numerous entries which might seem hard to get in for new readers. Individually most Monogatari wouldn't rank high but taking in count all their sales would still make it one of the best selling LN serie all time.

6 years to go for Mahiru to dethrone Mikoto's 9 years in a row as top female character.

Misaka’s record was 5 years in a row, she was second place in 2015. So, Mahiru needs 3 more years in a row.

Makes me wonder why
Author Mizuki Nagano and illustrator Saori Toyota's Koishita Hito wa, Imōto no Kawari ni Shindekure to Itta.
isn't licensed yet.

It has a great world-building.

I previously read the WN (about 2 tankobon length) before it was taken down from Narou.
