"Draft 0"? I don't know what the heck that is, but I'm certainly interested! What would be considered 'the beginning story'?

Draft 0 would probably be his Treatment which comes before the actual scripting of a project. Treatments outline the basic plot structure, characters, history etc. Usually relatively short, commonly one page and it's written in prose.

Perhaps with this, some of the debates regarding the ending, authorial intent, and the infamous delays will be laid to rest. Curious to see, though I doubt I'll be importing this.
