Never doubted it would make it here. This is basically made because of that small acclaim Nier got and well not like it did'nt get some in the west.

I still hope there's some DLC costume to get rid of that really dumb flower eye.

Great news either way.

I just hope they won't change the main chara into an ugly old woman with tough muscles.

Nevertheless I'll have to wait until I see the game itself before decide whether to buy it or not, because Drakengard 1 & 2 were pretty terrible. Also, can't say that i'm a fan of Nier despite the praise it received.

To be fair Drakengard one was heavily edited due to content deemed inappropriate to Western Audience, my God we can't hande incest in the West.

Also I take it you guys are not fans of Rozen Maiden if you don't like the flower in eye bit.

The voice one hears at the beginning screaming at Zero in desperation, anger, grief, and sadness belongs to One (voiced by Rie Tanaka). Evidently at this stage in the game, Zero has killed her younger sisters (imouto) Four, Three, and Two.

Near the end of the trailer, Zero (voiced by Maaya Uchida) tells Mikhail (voiced by Nao Tōyama) it's nearly time to go (murdering her younger sisters, probably).

Just like how Japan seems to have problems with violence in games like COD and Battlefield, censors them, gives them a CERO Z despite the heavy censorship, even though it's acceptable to have heads and limbs flying of and a character melting blood, yet that(Princess Mononoke) gets a PG-12 rating, despite being just as graphic as any of those games. Works both way, brah.

Drakengard was barely edited, for the most part. It was primarily that one cutscene (you know what I mean) and spoiler[Leonard's pedophilia, which still came across very strongly in the cutscene where he dies]. The incest was still in; it just wasn't as bluntly stated.

Nier was changed waaaay back in the pre-production stages. Pretty boy Nier was brought back because of how poorly Daddy Nier was received. Plus, an ugly old woman with muscles would be a nice change of pace.-[/spoiler]

Ok what does this have to do with anything? It didn't effect the game quality and is hardly noticeable.

If no one told you, you wouldn't even know. All they did was make it more subtle.

Can you ever make a non douchebag comment on this forum? I am far from the being the most courteous user on this site, but Christ as soon as I see that avatar, I know you will either be talking trash about a game, show, or a user. I have yet to see you come on any thread and just have a normal remark.

It does change it, changing the story especially something like the nature of relationships, changes how you view the characters and their actions. I'll admit I haven't played the game in years but the few people I know who played the original said it was noticeable.

Either way all I did was ask what was the point of bringing that up? What was it even for, the post above you wasn't about censoring. it was a reference to Nier.

No it really dosen't. Furiae's feelings towards Caim is still implied, it's not removed. It's just not stated outright and really the story is hardly damaged because it's not the most important part of the game.

It's still there, just subtle, but "Hold me brother" Dirty thoughts" "the moaning" "not a real goddess as manah reads her thoughts". It all makes sense why Caim looks on her with disgust and she kills herself saying "don't look at me".

But lets remember this is just one story path anyway.

Then there's the stuff with Leonard, but again it's still mostly in the game.

Hardly "heavily" edited as you tried to say before.
