Wow, I was unaware of this. Well, glad to know that all things are working out. Thanks to all the supporters to make these titles happen especially 'Wandering Son'.

Great. Now, in spite of what Kodansha says, can we crowfund the rest of Cromartie and the shorter unfinished series at Tokyopop and Del Rey, already?

I hope somebody will start a kickstarter to finish the manga "Swan", CMX only got to vol 15 before they shut down.

Now let's get back to crowdfunding Pastel Yumi at AnimeSols.com, it needs $12,480 to reach it's $18,000 goal and less than 5 days. Wink

$40 is a bit steep for Wandering Son, considering the other ones have a MSRP of $20, and I have fallen a bit behind in collecting all the volumes.

...but, I know I will love this series, and I want to support it's continued publication, so I will probably end up pledging for it anyway.

I think I will just keep my pledge a few stickers to show my support. As you say $40 is too steep. Particularly when there is nothing additional to add to the value, seems peculiar. For instance a lot of the other $40 items are signed. Even some of the $25 stuff is signed. I would of put down $20-$25, but $40 is just being exploitative, particularly as they are not hurting for the money and would be getting plenty of profit off $25.

All the stuff they originally put on KS was reasonably priced for what they were. All these new tiers including WS, seem to just be a recognition of "wow, we are making money, let's plough they for it now."

partially: Actually, they are hurting for money, or they wouldn't be doing Kickstarter.
